How does the Literacy Council work?
What can I get help with?
Is there childcare available?
Do I have to pay for these services?
Can I work with the same tutor again?

The Literacy Council provides free one-on-one or small group tutoring to anyone ages 16 and up. New students can enroll anytime. Once enrolled, students are matched with a tutor, and tutoring sessions are scheduled based on student needs and availability.

We can help you with reading/writing, basic math, English language, basic computer skills, the US Citizenship process, and how to manage your money. We can help with understanding and filling out forms, studying for license exams, and more.

Call 479-783-2665 or message us to set up a time to come in and get started.

No, all of our services are free!

You may be able to work with the same person, but sometimes a specific tutor is not available. If your previous tutor is not available, we will make sure your new tutor is a good match.

Unfortunately, we are not able to provide childcare at the Literacy Council. If you do not have childcare, ask about our online tutoring options. Or give us a call, and we will try to help you come up with a solution.
